They approached us wanting something that had never been seen before on the web. What we built was a homepage focused site that prominently features a horizontal sliding graphical experience, the objective of this being the explanation of how their tools lead customers from data chaos to order and understanding. This was expressed both literally and metaphorically, through a layered graphical environment that extends along a linear path, featuring nodes containing details about what Clickfox does and how they do it along these pathways towards order. All of this was designed and optimized for the user experience of tablet devices such as the iPad. All of the content is fully content managed. War causes large-scale consumption of fossil fuels. War cases the depletion of monetary and human capital. War causes the destruction of cultures, peoples, and ecosystems. War causes the entrenchment of militarism in a culture, and a false sense of superiority among its people. War causes the proliferation of hate. All of this makes sustainable, global growth and cooperation impossible. We need education, advocacy, and a spirit of activism to stop the cycle. A global, collaborative documentary can spark this spirit. we need to share national histories, cultural attitudes,and tendencies towards war. Using a free and open web-based tool, filmmakers, artists, and activists can work together, collecting and synthesizing information, art, and design, into a single, unified whole. This body of work would disseminate through film festivals, museums, and social media, all serving to shed light on the walls we put up between each other, to recognize and respect our global neighborhood, and to allow for the growth of a sustainable, peaceful co-existence.
